专著主要考虑同类制造资源通过网络共享涉及到的调度问题。与传统调度系统相比，机器通过云平台实现共享，需进一步考虑如下特点：（1）机器使用权与所有权分离，机器使用更应重视成本因素；（2）通过互联网获得的同类制造资源，在一个调度周期内，可能会带来平行机系统机器数量的变化。如果从静态的角度来看，可视为每个机器存在不可用时间段的平行机调度系统；而从动态的角度看，需综合考虑机器选择产生的成本与生产效率的平衡；（3）共享的机器设备在现实空间中可能有很大的位置差异，因此需要考虑生产对后续配送的影响。
