作者简介
  朱望::::::: 朱望,汕头大学文学院外国语言文学系教授,两次赴美国、一次赴英国作英国文学和西方文化研究项目(国家项目一个)。从1996年至今发表现代英国文学论文多篇,如《论T.S论艾略特的文化保守主义》《文学与文化之间:〈论印度之行〉跨文化的多重意义》《论乔伊斯〈一个青年艺术家的画像〉中的社会化意义》等(刊于《外国文学研究》《国外文学》《外国文学》《英美文学研究论丛》《解放军外语学院学报》等期刊)。著有《现代英国文学大家》和《现当代西方文化名家》,形成了文学与文化相辅相成的配套英文教材。 教授现代英国文学20年(汕大教学无记名评估每位学期97—99分,名列全校第一/校平均分88);任硕士导师12年;完成汕头大学的“20世纪英国文学”精品课程建设项目,本教材就是项目建设的主要内容;获云南省“优秀教师”称号,多次获云南大学校级、省级和汕头大学校级优秀奖,并获得“李嘉诚基金会卓越教师奖”。
