“德主刑辅,以德化人”,是中国历来崇尚的德治主张,它既来源于上古圣王之垂教,也是对历代治国实践的经验总结。它反映出了中国文化的一贯特质,例如,尊圣崇贤、尊道贵德的人民信仰,知行合一的道德修养观,非功利的人生态度与价值取向,君民一体的存在观念,以及对上行下效的作用机制与因果规律的遵循,等等。本书选取有文献记载的历史故事,从“存仁心,行仁政”的政德修养、“德教为先,刑罚为辅”的德治次第、“长善救失,净化人心”的德教智慧三个角度阐明德治主张在国家和社会治理中的应用和体现。时至今日,这一为中国文化所孕育的德治理念,在国家治理与国民教化中更加发扬光大,以崭新的面貌愈发为世界瞩目,为世人认同。
作者简介
刘余莉,1973年生,内蒙古赤峰人,中共中央党校(国家行政学院)哲学部教授、伦理学博士生导师,中国传统文化促进会《群书治要》传承委员会主任,中国伦理学会理事,《人民网·理论版》文化教育专家。中国人民大学哲学学士、硕士,英国赫尔大学哲学博士,新加坡国立大学哲学系博士后,美国耶鲁大学、英国威尔士三一圣大卫大学高级访问学者。曾应邀到英国、法国、意大利、美国、加拿大、澳大利亚、日本、新加坡、马来西亚、印度尼西亚、斯里兰卡以及中国香港、澳门、台湾等地进行学术访问,围绕“中国传统文化及其当代价值”等问题进行了演讲和研讨。2015、2016、2017年连续三年应邀到联合国教科文组织巴黎总部就“从《群书治要》看圣贤教育的重要性”“如何进行道德教育”“中华文化的大根大本”等问题进行主题演讲,助推“东学西渐”。中文代表著作为《儒家伦理与美德伦理》《平治天下》《(群书治要)的领导智慧》《政德》《半部(论语)治天下》《(群书治要)十讲》《心态即命运:正说传统人生智慧》《大家都学感应篇》《通往自我觉醒之路》《志于道如何认识中华传统文化》等,主编大型丛书《(群书治要)校订本》(宣纸版)、《(群书治要)译注》(精装10册)、《文白对照(群书治要)》。现主持国家社会科学基金课题《(群书治要)中的德福观研究》(一般项目)。《志于道:如何认识中华传统文化》为中央党校(国家行政学院)创新课题“社会结构转型与文明塑造研究”的阶段性研究成果。
