英语短篇小说选读

　　武汉大学英文系英美文学系列教材。本书收录了英、美等西方国家各个历史时期有代表性的作家所著的短篇小说共15篇，除一般性地介绍了英语小说的发展史、英语小说的构成要素外，对所选作家生平也作了简要的介绍；对所选作品中的疑难点用英文作了必要的注释，并结合小说内容提出了若干具有启发性的讨论问题。
