浮生琐记（双语译林）

　　《浮生琐记》是一系列极短篇散文随笔和隽语警句的合集。书中无论是鞭辟入里的幽默，还是哀而不伤的怀旧，都以一种举重若轻的言辞含而蓄之，既集中体现了作者的文体追求，又历时地记录了作者三十多年☆旺盛的人生经历中灵光乍现的思绪见解、漫步于伦敦街头巷尾所领略的大大小小的顿悟与重生。

　　作者洛根·波绍尔·史密斯（1865—1946）批评家、散文家及传记作家。生于美国新泽西州米尔维尔一个富裕的玻璃瓶制造商家庭。受过哈佛教育，后入读牛津大学。毕业后在英国定居，并于1913年入籍英国。一生从事古典学和英语语言文学研究，广交文人名士。与诗人罗伯特·布里吉斯等人共同创办旨在维护“纯正英语”的象牙塔社团“纯粹英语学会”。工于格言警句式的极短篇章。所著《英语》（The English Language，1912）和《词与语》（Words and Idioms，1925），令他成为当时英语正确用法的权威。1938年出版自传《难忘的岁月》（Unforgotten Years）。译者朱纯深诺丁汉大学1993年英语（翻译）博士。从事翻译、翻译教学与研究四十余年，曾任教于福建师范大学、新加坡国立大学、香港城市大学，现为香港中文大学（深圳）翻译学教授。著有Fathoming Translation as Discursive Experience （2021），译有《浮生琐记》《自深深处》等。
