Only one item on the entire agenda is compulsory for the Laureates during this week， the Nobel Lecture. Thus， each Laureate has to deliver a lecture on the topic for which the prize has been awarded. The classification of the living world followed in this edition reflects the recent division of all living things into three domains or superkingdoms. Entries in the body of the dictionary are given for all the main phyla， divisions and classes of plants， fungi， animals， protists and prokaryotes （Bacteria and Archaea）， with some orders being included for groups such as the insects， birds， mammals and fiowet- ing plants. 本书分为上下两篇。分别介绍了分子生物学基础理论，包括分子生物学概念、核酸化学等；以及分子生物学基本实验技术，包括真核细胞基因组DNA的提取、质粒DNA的提取等内容。
