　　This book constitutes the refereed proceedings of the 13th International Conference on High-Performance Computing， HiPC 2006， held in Bangalore， India in December 2006.The 52 revised full papers presented together with the abstracts of 7 invited talks were carefully reviewed and selected from 335 submissions.
