农业英语

　　《农业英语》是在对主管部门、外派专家、授课教师问卷调查、系统需求分析以及相关文献研究结果的基础上，基于“学以致用、即学即用‘’的原则编著而成。本教材旨在提高外派专家的专业文献阅读能力，重点扩充其专业词汇，兼顾与专业相关的听说训练，以应对未来援外工作的实际需要。本教材既可以作为农业从业人员的培训和自学教材，也可以作为农业院校的行业英语教材。教材编写指导思想是需求导向、学生中心、实用为要，主要体现在以下几个方面：1.目标明确实用性高本教材针对参加南南合作英语培训的农业专家的实际工作需要编写，内容贴近岗位需求，语言来源鲜活，体现了实用主义的教育理念。首先，为满足援外实际工作需求，教材以提升他们的阅读能力为主，辅以单元主题相关的听力、翻译训练。其次，教材每个单元还补充介绍了科技英语的文体风格、翻译策略以及主要外派国的农业概况。同时，练习设计不仅与课文内容密切相关，形式也丰富多样，既有单项选择、匹配连线、判断正误等客观题，也有回答问题、英汉互译、编写对话等主观题。最后，每篇文章均编排了词汇表，标注了音标和词性，提供了文中义，可供学员在今后援外工作中随时查阅。2.题材广泛选材新颖本教材共十个单元，每单元包括三篇与单元主题密切相关的科普类、政府报告等文章。其中，第一篇文章用于精讲精练，第二、三篇旨在拓展延伸。单元主题主要涉及种植、水利灌溉、农业机械、农产品加工、粮食安全、动物医学、畜牧、植物保护、园艺、渔业等。教材文章均精心选编自国内外网站、期刊、专栏与科普读物等，体现世界农业科学技术发展新进展，反映非洲农业发展现状，不仅注重对具体领域的宏观了解，还特别关注特定研究方向的新动态，做到了宏观与微观的有机衔接。3.针对性强系统性高在系统提高学员的专业词汇量和专业文献阅读能力的同时，本教材还注重培养他们用英语来完成日常援外工作任务和提升自我学术研究的能力，具有很强的针对性和系统性。为此，教材特别编写了听、写、译和说的内容和练习，培养学员语言学习的整体观。
