美术英语

　　本书是为中国高校美术专业学生量身编写的一套专业英语（ESP）教材。作为通用英语教材的辅助教材，它通过教授与中国美术专业相关的教学内容，培养学生的专业英语应用能力，使学生能够阅读本专业的英语文献，使用该专业的语言知识与国际同行进行有效的交流。教材的内容涉及从史前的彩陶到民国时期的绘画，覆盖了中国美术史上的绘画、书法、雕塑、青铜器、瓷器、漆器等各方面的内容。该套教材适合于艺术院校、综合类大学和其他类型大学艺术专业的学生，也可以成为英语专业学生的选修课教材，或者国际学生和海外孔子学院学生学习中国文化的英文教材，在中国文化走出去、用国际通用语言“讲好中国故事”方面发挥作用。

　　陆薇，教育部大学外语教学指导委员会委员、北京语言大学应用外语学院院长、英语学院教授、北京外国语大学客座研究员。曾为美国哥伦比亚大学、英国曼彻斯特大学访问学者、联合国教科文组织大会翻译。主要教学和研究方向为英美文学、比较文学、英语教育、文学翻译等，曾在国内外发表论文多篇。出版专著、译著、教材多部。获得过北京市哲学与社会科学优秀成果奖、北京市青年骨干教师等荣誉。2012年作为设计者和主讲教师领衔推出的Mooc课程“中国文化系列英文讲座”被评选为国*级精品视频公开课，并获得北京市高等教育教学成果一等奖。兼任国家社科基金、教育部社科基金、国家留学基金委、北京市社科规划办的评审专家。教材编写团队全部为北京语言大学专业英语教师，大部分具有博士学位和副教授以上职称，其中包括外教社杯全国英语教学大赛的获奖教师。
