本教材将英语学习与学员的教师职业发展相结合,将教育学、心理学、教师发展的等方面的思想、理念融入教材的编写中,实行以内容为基础(content based)的选材原则, 以教育学和心理学作为两大主题,例如:多元智能理论、测试评价、反思性教学等。文本的选取充分体现师范专业的特点。学生在学习英语的同时,能够了解、学习新的教育思想,有助于教师的职业发展,同时我们也兼顾了文章的可读性。本教程共有10 个单元,每个单元包含A 、B 两篇阅读文章。练习的设计着力培养学生批判性阅读、批判性思考的习惯,培养学生用目的语总结、概括的能力,培养学生英汉互译的语言实际运用能力;另外,帮助学生扩展词汇也是练习设计的一个重要内容。在每个单元最后出现的学生自我评价是本教程的另一个重要内容,其目的是督促学生对学习过程和学习结果的自我监控和掌握,以期培养学生良好的外语自学习惯。
作者简介
杨凤珍,北京师范大学外文学院副教授,1981—1985年就读于河北师范大学外语系,获学士学位;1985—1987就读南开大学研究生班获硕士生学历;2004.2—2012.7 美国加州大学做访问学者;2013、7—2013、8 美国乔治梅森大学学习。长期从事硕士研究生英语教学工作,主编《博学英语听说教程》(1—4册),参编《博士研究生英语综合教程》(人民大学出版社)、《博士研究生读写教程》(人民大学出版社)、《研究生英语读译教程》(人民大学出版社);主持并完成“北京师范大学研究生精品课程建设”项目,目前主持“教育硕士研究生英语课程建设”(北京师范大学资助)。
