《我和你》是针对欧美孔子学院，满足汉语国际教育需求的新型汉语速成教材，适用于零起点成人汉语学习者。为北京语言大学国际汉语教学研究基地重点项目成果之一。全书分为两册，分别对应中国国家汉办颁发的《国际汉语能力标准》一、二级水平。1册“海外篇”以海外孔子学院为背景，通过海外孔子学院学生、汉语教师、志愿者、中国留学生等8个人物角色之间的互动传达和展示汉语日常会话、个人信息、日常生活、工作、学习与职业规划等主题内容；2册“中国篇”中，主要人物角色来到中国某大学汉语学院进行短期学习，通过他们的所见、所闻和所感展示生活服务、人与环境、情感与计划等主题内容。每册8单元，每单元2课，两册总计32课。同时提供课本、练习册及教师用书。全书指令及说明均使用英语，配以大量插图和实物图片，提供配套录音光盘。本书为第1册配套练习册。每课包含4个板块：汉英语言互动、语音与汉字/汉字与词汇、语法与交际、汉字书写，各个板块包含两种以上题型的练习，以巩固型、交际型练习为主。每两个单元后提供一套模拟题。
