　　《普通高等教育“十一五”国家级规划教材·新世纪大学英语系列教材：快速阅读》分8个单元（每两周一单元）。每一单元以“主题”为线索，安排知识内容相近，体裁不同、风格不同的阅读材料5篇。第一册特别安排了“阅读技巧讲解”部分，旨在帮助学生了解一些基本的阅读理论和技巧，帮助提高阅读能力。第二、三、四册以阅读实践为主，巩固所讲解的技巧。所有练习答案通过附录形式放在书后。
