中国民治主义（Modern Democracy in China）

　　《中华现代学术名著丛书（英文本）：中国民治主义》分为两部分，第一部分是研究近代中国的宪政历程与出现的诸多问题，探讨《临时约法》及其缺点，民国建立以来十余年宪政的教训，以及废督、制宪和救济危机等诸多急切需要解决的问题；第二部分则是从政治学、宪法学方面对内阁制与总统制、统一制与联邦制等诸多问题进行理论上的研究。第一部分主要是中国宪政的历史及经验教训等实践层面的展开，第二部分是第一部分的理论升华，完全着眼于对第一部分所提出的若干实际问题加以理论解答，理论与实践的结合最终体现在著述最后专章所列的中华民国宪法草案上。
