主要英语国家文学简史

　　在英语文学史中，加、澳两国的文学发展不容忽视，它们散发着本土气息，也取得了辉煌的成就，其中不乏诺贝尔文学奖获得者。然而英美文学方面的书籍可谓数不胜数，但涉猎加、澳两国文学的书刊却寥寥无几，令人遗憾。《主要英语国家文学简史》正是基于以上的这一认识，试图对英、美、加、澳这四国主要英语国家的文学发展史做一个清晰、简要而全面的概述，为广大英语教师、英语专业学生及英语爱好者们提供一个了解与认识这几国英语文学的平台。《主要英语国家文学简史》共分四部分：英国文学简史、美国文学简史、加拿大文学简史和澳大利亚文学简史。每一部分都分别介绍了该国的文学发展概况，各历史时期著名的文学家及其有代表性的小说、散文、诗歌、戏剧等文学作品。本教材供培养本科层次人才的普通高等学校应用型英语专业和独立学院英语专业使用，也可供普通高等学校其他相关专业的师生和社会人员进修或自学使用。
