Proceedings of Fifth China-Japan Seminar on Nomerical Mathematics（影印版）

　　The fifth China-Japan joint seminar on Numerical Mathematics was held from August 21 to 25 at Shanghai Jiaotong University， China.More than 49 participants from China and Japan attended this meeting. Among them were 20 invited speakers， 10 from Japan and 10 from China， including 2 representatives from Hong Kong.This proceeding collected over 11 one-hour invited talks and 17 twenty minutes short communications. These papers reflect the recent advances in Nu- merical Mathematics established by Chinese and Japanese scientists， especially in the fields of Numerical Solution of Partial Differential Equations， Numerical Linear Algebra and Approximations.
