　　《中等职业教育卫生部规划教材：英语（下册）》为专门用途（医学）英语阶段，供基础英语阶段后教学使用，课文以学科普和医学基础知识方面的内容为主，并适当反映高科技在医学中的应用，如计算机网络远程卫生保障、医疗、护理、教学等，旨在培养医学生借助词典，能基本读懂与医学相关的参考资料和应用文。本册共6个单元。听说2个单元共8刘要，每课4学时；阅读2个单元共12课，每课6课时；写作2个单元共2课，每课4学时。课后四个附录：《常用医学编写词》、《医院部分科室和医务人员名称》、《常用标识用语》及《药品说明书》，应安排适当学时，指导学生认读。教师可以根据不同的专业，不同学制层次的要求，灵活采用，进行教学。专门用途英语阶段教学时数应不少于60学时。
