如果你还在学校读书，请试着写一份简历，看看在专业方面能列出多少让人认可的、有含金量的技能和认知。假如你受过的训练或者做过的科研经历不足以让一个科研小组或者一家公司产生拉你入伙的冲动，八成是你把学校当成了暂时的乐园、一直在躲避着未来生活的挑战。这种“不作为”会拉开你与同龄人的距离。
在中国的大学校园里，从来不乏泡在寝室或网吧、沉迷于网络游戏的大学生。由于缺少“成人礼”的仪式，很多学生并没有严肃地把自己当个成年人看待，在内心还习惯于当个孩子。相对于国外学生的“早熟”，中国大部分的学生“晚熟”。
我国的高校除了书本，很少为学生提供能深入地认识社会、扩大眼界的途径和机会。“早熟”的学生能抢在同龄人之前提升眼界，去做真正对未来有用的事情。他们的生活总是很充实。
